Submitting a request
Cancellation can be requested from order details for an entire order, one seller sub-order or a specific item. A request is not approved automatically.
Cancellation window
Requests are generally available only before fulfilment has progressed beyond the permitted stage. Once packed, shipped or delivered, a return request may be the appropriate workflow instead.
Refunds
Approved prepaid cancellations are refunded through the recorded refund workflow. Processing time after initiation depends on Razorpay, the bank and the original payment method. COD orders do not generate a payment refund unless money has already been collected.
Platform or seller cancellation
Babu Maker or a seller may cancel an item when stock cannot be fulfilled, payment verification fails, delivery is not serviceable or an order presents a security or compliance concern.
