Our privacy commitment

We collect only information reasonably required to operate the marketplace, fulfil orders, provide support and deliver requested app features.

Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

Account information

Name, email address, mobile number, profile photo and authentication records.

Commerce information

Addresses, cart details, orders, payments, returns, refunds and support messages.

Uploaded content

Images selected for profiles, virtual try-on, reviews or return evidence.

Technical information

Device, app, IP address, security and diagnostic information required to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

Information is used to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, process purchases, deliver products, provide order tracking, handle cancellations and returns, prevent fraud, respond to support requests and improve platform reliability.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

Camera, photos and notifications

Camera: Used only when you choose camera-based virtual makeup try-on or another feature requiring a new image.

Photos and media: Used only when you select an image for try-on, your profile, a review, support request or return evidence.

Notifications: Used, with permission, for account, payment, order, return and support updates.

Virtual try-on face detection and makeup rendering are designed to run locally on the device. A result is uploaded or saved only when you clearly choose to save it and provide consent.

Sharing, payments and security

Necessary order information may be shared with the seller fulfilling your order and with payment, delivery, hosting, email and support providers that help operate Babu Maker.

Online payments are processed through Razorpay. Babu Maker does not store your card number, UPI PIN or banking password. We retain payment identifiers, amount, status and verification records required for orders, disputes and refunds.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and access-control measures to protect stored information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and account deletion

Information is retained only while needed to provide the service or meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution obligations.

You can request deletion of your Babu Maker account and associated personal information from the account section of the mobile app or through our web deletion page.

Request account deletion

Some transaction, payment, refund or fraud-prevention records may be retained when required by law or legitimate operational obligations. Retained records will not be used for unrelated marketing.

Your choices

You may update profile details and addresses, withdraw optional permissions through device settings, delete saved try-on results and contact us regarding access, correction or deletion of personal information.
